Pioneer - Monday

Day 1 started with excitement and eagerness to get going. We were soon on the road, heading towards The Pioneer Centre, and the coach was filled with the buzz of conversation! When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly faces of our group leaders who showed us to our lodge and gave the children a tour of the facilities. We were quickly into our first activities and we made sure that the drizzle didn’t hamper our enjoyment, though Mr James’ group got wetter than the rest attempting to build a raft! After our first few hours of activities we made our way into the dining area for some delicious chicken and chips and profiteroles! In the evening our groups made their way to the archery range to practise their aim and the maze of man made cave tunnels to explore! It was soon time to get ready for bed. We relaxed in our dorm with some quiet games and activities before turning in for the night.

Pupils conduct themselves well around the school. They are polite and well presented. They are clearly proud of their school.
