At Tewkesbury C of E Primary we are working together with Move More which is a charity dedicated to empowering children across Gloucestershire and the surrounding area to enjoy the lifelong benefits of an active, healthy lifestyle. Their mission is rooted in the belief that every child—regardless of background or circumstance—deserves the opportunity to thrive physically, emotionally and socially.
Move More works with schools, communities and families to deliver physical activity and health interventions that build positive, sustainable behaviours. Through these partnerships, we help children develop confidence, resilience and the social and emotional skills that underpin long‑term wellbeing.
A core part of their work focuses on supporting families. They provide parents and carers with a range of early‑help services, including 1‑to‑1 support, group discussions and webinars, designed to strengthen family relationships and create healthier home environments. This preventative approach benefits the whole family unit, encouraging long‑term behaviour change that supports children’s development far beyond our programmes.
We would like to share the following links to videos we have already shared at coffee mornings. If you are interested in joining the next coffee morning, please let us know.
