This week Ruby class celebrated the end of their topic on Minibeasts!
The classroom was taken over by lots of different minibeasts such as caterpillars, butterflies, ladybirds, beetles and even a snail! The children looked wonderful in their costumes and we had a fantastic day thinking about all the different facts we have learnt over the last half term.
It was also a very special day because our four butterflies had emerged from their chrysalides, which meant we were able to let them go outside. The children have enjoyed observing the changes that have taken place over the last few weeks, starting with the very small caterpillars that grew bigger and bigger, before making their chrysalides and then turning into a butterfly.
Ruby class have really enjoyed learning about lots of different minibeasts and now know lots of facts about different creatures. If you want to find out more about caterpillars, butterflies, snails or spiders come and ask us!
