We have had a wonderful World Book Day today! Children have completed a range of activities in school from Class 14 imagining what they would do if they found a suitcase full of money (inspired by ‘Millions’ by Frank Cottrell-Boyce) to Reception designing a postcards based around the ‘Day the Crayons Quit’ by Drew Daywalt.
Each child also took part in the Reading cafe, where they sampled a ‘tasting’ menu of a veritable spread of genres! The pupils looked amazing in their costumes – well done to all involved.
Here are a few photos!
