News

It has been a very busy week for the children with the launch of their new topics. Year 6 have been learning how to survive as cavemen and have been building shelters. Year 5 have had a visit from the Space Dome which filled the hall and has left them thinking about the universe around them. Year 4 have emersed themselves in live sketching of flowers inspired by the artist Henri Rousseau. Year 3 can tell you that the human body has 206 bones as they have launched their science topic with identifying and naming these bones.

Year 2 have had a mysterious visit from Paddington Bear who left a trail of distruction with abandoned marmalade sandwiches in the classroom! Year 1 dressed as fairytale characters for the day and have produced some wonderful writing. The Reception classes have had a visit from our ‘Lollypop’ lady and have been busy designing her a new coat that had to be waterproof, reflective and warm. Our Pre-school have been enjoying their nature walks around the school grounds.
