At the end of last term, Year 2 went on a trip to the Black Country Museum, as a celebration of our Victorian theme, “Rags. Riches and Royalty!” Our trip would have been exciting enough but it was made even more special because it had snowed! The museum looked magical and we had a wonderful time; for some children, it was the first time they had experienced snow that was so deep!
During our day, we experienced a lesson in a Victorian school, met Victorian guides who told us about their houses and even tried traditionally cooked chips! We definitely needed a warm lunch after walking around in the snow.
It was an amazing day that children, parents and staff alike will never forget!
