Children In Need

Toby Powell and friends organised independently the collection and sale of books and they have raised a total of £ 131.00 and this is expected to increase after today with another after school sale. Well done to Toby and friends for a selfless and kind act.

The whole school including staff helped cover our giant Pudsey Bear this morning and we raised an amazing £521.25. Thank you for your generosity.

Mastery In Maths Parents Workshop

As you are aware we have introduced a new approach to maths throughout the school. This is based on the Singapore Maths and Positive Mind Growth. We have already seen rapid improvements in the childrens attitude and ability surrounding the concepts of maths. As our approach is vastly different we have a Parents Workshop and information evening next Wednesday 22nd November at 6.00pm there will be a creche available. There were many questions asked during our recent parents evening and if you are able to attend this workshop I am sure many of those questions will be answered.

Flu Immunisation for Rec, Yr 1, 2, 3, 4 children

The vacination will be on Wednesday 13th December 2017 at school for children from the Reception classes, Years 1, 2, 3 & 4 ONLY.

Book Fair

We are hosting for the first time ‘Books for Bugs’ book fair. This will be after school in the hall on Thursday 23rd November (next Thursday) all books are brand new and all cost just £2.50 each!

INSET day

Friday 24th November is an INSET day. The school and Pre-school will be closed.

Non-Uniform Day

In aid of the Christmas fayre we are holding a non-uniform day on Thursday 30th November. We are asking Reception classes Years 1 & 2 to bring in chocolates and Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 a bottle.

Disco – Change to times

Our Christmas disco will be on Thursday 30th November for Reception, Y1 & Y2 children this will be from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. The children will be allowed to change into their party clothes in the classroom.The KS2 children (Y3,4,5 & 6) disco will follow from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. Consent forms will be coming home with children shortly. The cost is £2.50 per ticket.  Please put payment and consent form in an envelope with your childs details on. Thank you.

Community Centre

If you know of any charitable organisation that may need a venue for their group to meet please contact the school office. They may qualify for a free room.

Zumba Gold Chair is a fun chair based fitness class with Latin based and funky music. It is suitable for everyone especially beneficial for those with limited mobility, young at heart and wheelchair users. Every Wednesday at 11 am. Totally FREE! At the Community Centre.
