News
This week has been eventful for the children with sporting tournaments, Sporting Stars and today Super Heroes in Reception! Today assembly was led by Year 2 Mr Rylatt’s class and the children gave us all a valuable explanation on what community means in the family, school, town and the world around us. Thank you Year 2. A reminder that next Monday 3rd April is class photograph day.

Feedback
Thank you for your stars and wishes feedback contributions. We have collected many suggestions on how we can help parents understand the new curriculum and the progress reports. It was pleasing to read the overwhelming delighted parent comments for the school and its teaching staff. Recognition too, how the school is using a range of communications with parents. One thing that resonated above all others was how happy your children are here, even with the high demands of the curriculum. Also how our new after school clubs are offering such variety.
Tewkesbury C of E Community Centre
We have now taken the full responsibility for the community centre. This is hugely exciting for the school as we expand into the community. The provision we will be offering after Easter is extensive and diverse. It is every bit a community provision. If you have an interest in running an activity or club for any age group and are desperately seeking a good provision then please contact Mrs McCormick at the school office number to arrange a fact finding meeting about what we can offer your organisation. Our rates are extremely competitive.
Easter Assembly
The Easter bonnet parade and assembly for Reception classes, Years 1 & 2 is on Friday Morning at 9.30am. The assembly will be followed by the presentation of learning Cups. For those parents new to the school the Easter bonnet parade is one of our spectacular events of the year. We encourage every child to make an Easter bonnet at home and wear it into the special assembly. They walk around the hall parading their bonnets. We have had some elaborate designs over the years.
