• Welcome to Tewkesbury C of E Primary School

    A message from the Headteacher

Firstly, I just want to say thank you for taking an interest in Tewkesbury C of E Primary School. We know that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make, we also know that if you choose our school, it will be one of the best decisions that you ever make!

How do we know this? Well, let me tell you…

At Tewkesbury C of E, we understand that children learn best in an environment where they have positive relationships with caring adults, where they feel safe, and where they feel free to explore and learn. We also know that children learn best when they are exposed to real life experiences and opportunities and, through our REAL curriculum, we give the children those WOW moments every single day. But we don’t just limit this to the classrooms, during lunchtimes, our childrens' experiences are further enriched through our 'Platinum Standard' OPAL play, where they are free to build dens in the woods, climb trees, play in our giant sand pit, scoot around the playground, use our mud kitchens or develop their imaginations in a million other ways.

Here at C of E, we take pride in teaching the children the important values of Love, Hope, Peace, Faith, Community, Respect and Forgiveness and, along with our three Golden Rules; Be Ready, Be Safe and Be Respectful, we celebrate these values each and everyday.

Finally, our talented staff really do go the extra mile for both your child and for you. We have a real sense of community and we will take any opportunity to invite you into school to enjoy your child’s education with them, so we can all ‘learn together, shine forever.’

Once again, thank you for taking an interest in our wonderful school, if you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you.
